For additional information you may reference Virginia House Bill # 516.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;According to the Virginia POA and Condominium Act, a seller is required to obtain from the association a resale certificate and related association operating documents. The unit owner&amp;rsquo;s association shall furnish the resale certificate upon the written notification of any owner within 14 days of the receipt of such requests. &lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;Payment for the actual costs of preparing the resale certificate will be required from the owner when the request is completed.
